- Natsuhi’s gigantic Dragonaut tits
- The awful pacing that makes it incomprehensible to anyone who hasn’t played the game. Seriously, it just jumps around to random scenes and doesn’t even bother to introduce any of the characters. Good luck figuring out what the hell is going on.
- The terrible directing and low production values. The directing is rather hilariously insipid during the discussions between the adults in particular.
- Beato being visible on Ep 1 gameboard. This will probably confuse people later when Battler denies Beato’s existence, because people are dumbasses and will be like “WELL I SAW HER!!!”
- The OP animation, ED animation, and ED song. The OP animation is literally still frames, the ED animation is very… uninspired, and the ED song is Kinzou singing.
- Inconsistent and generally ugly character designs. There was no need to give everyone a boob job. At least Rosa’s chest looks pretty decent… I weep for the Siestas, Stakes, Bern, and 34, though.
- Complete failure at using music properly. At least they used ZTS at all, I guess.
This was rather more of a debacle than I was expecting, to be honest. I don’t really have any more hope for seeing cool stuff later on, but I’m obviously going to watch this trainwreck from beginning to end anyway.
By the way, the anime could be entirely redeemed if DEEN changes the ED animation to Kinzou shredding on a guitar for a minute and a half.

This post does not surprise me.
“LOL DEEN” is a pretty good way of describing this. Way to miss the whole point of the first Episode by explicitly showing Beatrice 20 minutes into the series.

On the bright side, confusing the new viewer with Beatrice glimpse might be good later. We are not really sure (except for people who play the game) that is that really Beatrice or not.
I don’t think this series need to be clear from the beginning. Confusing the new viewers is the aim of EP1 anyway…

Bah, the episode wasn’t really good, but not really THAT bad like some raged biased minority that seems to want a “novel line by line lecture” try to claim. ^^U
- They rushed it? Yes, but for the best. EP1 beginning is sluggish and… boring to adapt into a bearable show. Ryuukishi likes to repeat himself a lot of times, so they can cram the parts that they skipped over and introduce them later if need be. It went straight to the facts, that was good thing.
- Animation was so-so, it looks good most of the time, sometimes average.
- Character designs are pure personal preferences, as well the boob stuff. And for me the atmosphere was as good as may be right now, as until the dinner, there is not really “atmosphere” per se. I found the adult discussion far better than in the manga, where was REALLY chopped and unnatural.
- I think that we must pospone our conclusion to the end of EP1. They rushed seven novel chapters, but now they have 4 episodes to adapt nine chapters fairly well. For example, the released summaries show that second episode will end in the roulette, and that maybe means good pace for right on.

whoever wrote this review fails. If you think the ED is uninspired then you probably shouldn’t be watching this kind of anime to begin with. Maybe… Bleach…? would be more suitable for you?
