~Fall 2009 Preview: A Profusion of Kawaii~

Actually I think most of these shows look horrible but profusion sure is a good word eh. Anyway, onward, Christian soldiers.
I’m using this chart as reference. I’ll just go down the list.
TV Anime
- Battle Spirits – Literally what the fuck is this.
- Queen’s Blade s2 – Yes I definitely wanted to watch another season of Queen’s Blade.
- Nyan Koi – This looks really retarded and generic but the OP is by Yuinyan so I’m going to watch at least one episode of it. I don’t recommend that you do the same! Unless you are as bored as I am, of course. Then all bets are off.
- Kampfer – Okay, I’m sorry. I have a TG fetish and this show features Tamura so I’m probably going to love it despite how bad it will most certainly be. orz orz orz. Same staff/studio as Kyouran Kazoku Nikki, etc. if you didn’t know.
- 11eyes – This has about a 0.1% chance not to be completely shitty, especially given that it has the same director as Polyphonica s1, but I’m going to watch it anyway. I’m just too damn optimistic, aren’t I? And, well, I watch every eroge show anyway, so whatever. Kukuri and Shiori are both pretty hot too.
- Asura Cryin’ 2 – Through some feat of determination, I managed to finish the first season. I suppose I will have to watch the second season as well.
- Tatakau Shisho - Didn’t we already have this show once? It was called Toshokan Sensou then, I think. And it still looks just as gay!
- Toaru Kagaku no Choudenjibou – OH BOY I SURE LOVE INDEX! Well, in all seriousness, I don’t like Mikoto, unlike everyone else in the fuckin’ universe, so this show is going to be just as painful as the “first season,” as it were. Man, I gotta stop watching things out of some misguided sense of obligation… yeah right.
- White Album s2 – GIVE ME BACK MY BOYFRIEND
- Seitokai no Ichizon – Extremely good character designs. Also there’s some promotional image with the girls wearing sukumizu under their uniforms. Holy shit that’s awesome. Apparently the LNs are just random ecchi shenanigans, too. Definitely watching this. UNFORTUNATELY IT IS BY STUDIO DEEN LOL IHBT
- Usaru-san – Little kids’ show.
- Inuyasha s2000 – Boy I sure do love Inuyasha. And so does Youtube: “inuyasha linkin park” results 1 – 20 of about 466
- Letter Bee – Uh idk. I have a history of disliking shows where Sawashiro plays a shota so I’ll probably dislike this one as well. It has Koshimizu, at least. Basically looks bog standard I guess.
- The Sacred Blacksmith – So generic that I can’t even find anything to compare it to. Also, I think Nakahara would be appropriate for the lead girl’s design but they got some random bitch instead. Oh well, at least I don’t have to watch it w.
- Sunred s2 – Apparently this show owns but I never watched s1 oops lol
- Shugo Chara s9001 – Is anyone even still watching this. I saw a screencap from the most recent episode the other day and apparently it’s degenerated into terrible Korean Satelight QUALITY hell. Fucking Satelight.
- Miracle Train - I guess this might be good if you’re gay. Or a woman.
- Yumeiro Patissiere – Fuck typing those accents. This show looks gay as shit anyway.
- Natsu no Arashi s2 – The first season was a pretty pleasant surprise for me, so you can bet your ass I’m watching this one, too. I still don’t think we’ll get a proper ending, but oh well. Show me what you can do, Oonuma.
- Sora no Otoshimono – Ummm the loli in this looks pretty hot but she’s voiced by some random no-name. Also, Takagaki Ayahi, the bitch that voiced Nina in Regios (that whore) is in this so I don’t know. What. Not like this show has any actual merits to discuss okay.
- Anyamaru Tantei Kiruminzuu - Man after Basquash I just don’t know what the fuck is wrong with Kawamori Shouji and Satelight. I’m not watching this shit whatever.
- Shin Koihime Musou – Hot girls? Okay.
- Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu: Purezza – One episode of the first season was enough, thanks. I have a very low tolerance for Noto.
- Kobato – Hey, the main girl is Hanazawa Kana. Also, the designs and art looked really nice in the trailer that I saw for it. Too bad Madhouse seems hell-bent on farming out production to fucking IMAGIN nowadays… Well, anyway. I’m gonna watch this because Hanazawa is great!
- Kimi ni Todoke – Shoujo bullshit.
- Sasameki Koto – Yuri bullshit.
- Cheburashka Arere – wtf
- Darker Than Black s2 – I watched like four episodes of s1, but it never really caught my interest. I was kinda planning to watch it at some point because holy shit Yin is so damn hot but I really dunno. Apparently she only shows up in two episodes and shit! However, if I watched s1, I could then watch s2 for the possibility of more Yin. Also, the new girl is voiced by Hanazawa. Hmm… Decisions, decisions.
- This next thing doesn’t even deserve an entry seriously
- Nor does this fuck it
- Blue Literature – Uhhhhh no thanks.
- Fairy Tail – Boy I sure want to watch One Piece Jr. for three hundred episodes or so. Also, lol Satelight, so it will be QUALITY immediately.
- Blah blah blah three gay pieces of shit that will never be subbed or watched
- Kiddy Girl-and – Watching this for the character designs alone. I never even watched Kiddy Grade hahaha fuck GONZO. Anyway, this show is by Satelight. I’m going to write off their two good shows (Noein and Macross F) as a fluke if this shit isn’t at least watchable. Seriously Satelight is so damn inconsistent argh rant
- Winter Sonata - Apparently this is being broadcast in Korean. Why. Also why would you watch this to begin with.
- Everything else is gay, the end
OVAs/Specials
- Jungle Emperor Leo – Clearly only furries would watch this but Taniguchi directed it, lol.
- Tonari no 801-chan R – I sure do love yaoi. By which I mean I don’t.
- Negima OAD #9001 – Negima sucks now and apparently this has QUALITY animation. Good job.
- TO – I sure know what this is.
- Table Cat - More like tsukue neko, am I right?
- Kanokon OVA – Man, I kinda feel sorry for Kawasumi nowadays. I mean, really.
- Kyou no Go no Ni OVA – Shit.
- Yu-Gi-Oh 10th Special – *insert random YTAS meme here*
- Toriko Special – This image frankly frightens me.
- Naruto 10th Special – Jesus Christ, fucking Naruto. Is it ever going to die?
- Hitman Reborn 10th Special – If you’re a fujoshi, you’ll love this!
- Mahoromatic: Tadaima Okaeri - Finally, something good! I’m thinking this is going to be an adaptation of the manga ending, which is a fucking awesome prospect. Also, Kawasumi! In a non-horrible role! With more than three lines! Hell yeah! Looking forward to this shit.
- Hidamari x365 OVA – I’ve never been a huge fan of Hidamari, but, hey, this is fine by me.
- Shakugan no Shana S – I watched all of Shana II, so I have no excuse not to watch this and the eventual s3. Lord help me.
- Kemono to Chat – I too wish to chat with furries.
- Akikan OVA – FUCK YES AKIKAN! THE GREATEST ANIME OF OUR GENERATION RETURNS FOR AN ENCORE!
In conclusion, Nakahara isn’t in anything this season and most of the shows look pretty bad and/or cheesy. Also other seiyuufags might have noticed that Mizuki Nana wasn’t in anything during summer 2009, but she’s in like four or five shows this season. This has nothing to do with anything but I felt like saying it.

I think the main question surrounding Seitokai is how quickly and to what extent will the designs be ruined by Deen QUALITY. I guess there’s only one way to find out!

Fuck yeah Akikan and Mahoromatic OAVS. Although I think that Basquash may have surpased Akikan as the greatest anime of our generation.

I’ll stick with Seitokai Ichizon. Though the DEEN part isn’t so much intriguing.
In the end I still seek only ZEXCS visual novel adaptations. Now if only there had been a recent game that had a well balanced trap and a plausible story, but alas no go. XP
